Pressure Treated Tanalised Post Caps. The wood used to create these high-quality timber fence post caps are cut from slow-grown European timber which is then pressure treated to provide a longer-lasting lifespan. The cap is 25mm high and has an approximate 10mm lip on each edge. Designed to protect your wooden posts from water and decay ingress at the top of your posts. Not only do they protect the top of your posts from rot but they're also a great finishing touch to your posts, completing your job!
- Post caps compatible 3x3" (75x75mm), 3x4" (75x100mm) and 4x4" (100x100mm) Fence Posts. The wooden caps are designed to prevent water ingress into you fence posts or any other posts between 50mm to 120mm in size
- The 3x3" Post Cap is compatible with 3x3" (75mm x 75mm) wooden fence posts the cap's true measurement is 95x95mm.
- The 3x4" Post Cap is compatible with 3x4" (75mm x 100mm) wooden fence posts the cap's true measurement is 90x120mm.
- The 4x4" Post Cap is compatible with 4x4" (100mm x 100mm ) wooden fence posts the cap's true measurement is 120x120mm.
- Each Postcap is oversized by approximately 10mm to 20mm to create a lip around the post.
- Pressure-treated tanalised timber is used to create these postcaps for a long lifespan.
- Can be either nailed or screwed into place.
- Fixings not included.
- Advised to pilot hole to avoid splitting but still very easy to install.
- Our wood products are all pressure treated using Tanalith E, green flecks may appear within the wood but will fade over time as the products weather.
- Please note: timber will always contract and expand in different weather conditions, some dimensional variation should be expected.
- We recommend not painting the products for up to 6-8 weeks to allow the treatment to completely dry.
