Premier Garden Supplies Birdmouth Posts are 100mm x 100mm Timber Posts. Birds mouth posts are cut from softwood timber and are pressure treated or tanalised to provide the timber with some protection from insects and fungus. They are used in conjunction with a 75mm x 75mm or 100mm x 100mm fence post to make a boundary fence such as knee rail style fencing. The top posts are fixed to the birds mouth posts with the use of a birds mouth post strap or bishops hat.
